Server & Community Rules

I am going to keep this simple.

This is not a community where staff sit around looking for bad words or reasons to be offended. Profanity, edgy jokes, arguments, trash talk, and unpopular opinions are not automatically against the rules. Context matters. What you actually do matters.

Do not attack the server or its players

No DDoS attacks, doxxing, swatting, malware, account theft, fraud, or credible real-life threats. Do not post somebody's private information or send people after them outside the community.

Do not cheat

No hacks, injected scripts, automation, duping, ban evasion, or abusing an exploit for your own gain. If you find something that can crash the server or destroy the economy, report it privately instead of showing everybody how to do it.

Do not deliberately ruin the game

Do not mass RDM, prop block, crash events, spam communications, or follow people around for hours trying to stop them from playing. Conflict is part of JVS. Being an annoying cunt with no roleplay reason is not.

Keep roleplay honest

  • Do not metagame information your character could not know.
  • Do not force outcomes onto other players without giving them a chance to respond.
  • Do not impersonate staff, another player, or another player's character.

Harassment is about behavior

Someone disliking a joke or a word does not automatically make it harassment. Repeatedly stalking somebody, targeting everything they do, threatening them, brigading them, or chasing them across platforms after they have disengaged can become harassment.

Use mute and block when the problem is just that you do not like somebody. Use reports when there is an actual pattern of abuse.

Keep public channels usable

No flooding, porn spam, malicious links, advertising unrelated communities, or derailing every discussion with the same argument.

Staff are accountable too

Staff need evidence and an actual reason for punishments. Personal grudges, faction politics, and losing an argument are not reasons to ban somebody.

Use Player & Staff Reports or Ban Appeals if something needs to be reviewed. Those sections are private.

Punishments depend on what happened, whether it was intentional, and whether it keeps happening. Serious attacks on the server or community can result in an immediate permanent ban.
